The Manor was built in 1865 and was once referred to as The Ransford Place.  Little is known about its early history, but in the 1990's Reverend and Mrs. Mercy purchased and converted it into a bed and breakfast called The Good Shepherd's Inn.  Later due to medical concerns the Mercy's resold it back to a previous owner, Irvin Forrest.  Master's Manor Inn acquired the property in 2005 and reopened it as a bed and breakfast in 2007.  Guests enjoy the well-appointed suites and the serenity of the lovely water garden, finding it a place of quiet retreat.
